Description
These premium, high-flow K2 Plus nozzles are an official collaboration between E3D and Creality, designed specifically for use with their K2 Plus and Hi 3D printers.Â
They feature an all-metal integrated nozzle and HeatBreak, offering superior thermal performance that prevents thermal runaway and filament leaks. Additionally, the nozzles are engineered for quick and easy nozzle changes, taking less than 5 minutes to replace.Â
High flow performance for high-speed printingÂ
E3D's unique multi-channel internal design divides the filament path into four separate channels, significantly increasing the surface area in contact with the filament. This enhancement results in a higher volumetric flow rate, allowing the nozzles to reach a maximum flow rate of up to 48mmÂł/s, supporting high-speed printing at 600 mm/s.Â
That means you can expect more reliable and consistent extrusion at the same speeds or bump up the volumetric flow rate limit in the slicer to utilise the motion systems' capabilities fully.Â

Abrasion ResistantÂ
With a wear resistance orders of magnitude higher than any other E3D nozzles, ObXidianÂź is really hard, making it the perfect nozzle for printing abrasive/filled polymers. This is achieved by pairing a hardened steel insert with our E3DLCâą coating. This specially formulated coating also embeds non-stick properties into the Nozzle itself, meaning considerably less plastic build-up around the Nozzle.Â
Improved Layer AdhesionÂ
High speed printing often sacrifices visual and functional aspects in favour of speed, but these nozzles maintain interlayer adhesion strength even at higher speeds; resulting in the correct filament finish and strong parts for functional applications.Â
Quad-Metal ConstructionÂ
To reduce the risk of heat creep, these nozzles feature a titanium HeatBreak with a sharp thermal gradient, ensuring the cold side remains cool while the hot side stays hot.Â

Please Note
- Some filled materials contain particles that are close to, if not larger than, some of the smaller industry-standard nozzle sizes, including up to 0.4 mm. Attempting to print such materials through these nozzle sizes significantly increases the risk a jam. Please check your filament manufacturerâs datasheet for the recommended minimum nozzle orifice diameter to ensure that the nozzle/hotend you choose is suitable for your use case.Â
- ObXidianÂź coated nozzles are exceptionally wear resistant compared to other products on the market and significantly outperform other hardened nozzles.Improvements in âexoticâ engineering filaments mean that some new materials which include aggressive fillers, including but not limited to Polymakerâs Fiberon range (PA612-CF, PA6-CF, PA6-GF and PA12-CF), can cause significant wear on even ObXidian nozzles. E3D is actively developing even more specialist solutions for these materials. In the meantime please be aware that even the rainbows and unicorns in your ObXidian nozzle are not everlasting under extreme material conditions.
