        We notice a recent extruder stepper motor update on Creality machines. Before ordering this kit, please check your extruder stepper motor. If your extruder motor gear is pressed in, you will need to purchase a new stepper motor to be able to complete the installation.Ā 

        Reminder:

        When you installed the Micro Swiss direct Drive, did you change "Retraction Distance" in your Slicer?

        For Ender 3 series should be 1.5-2mm @ 50mm/s
        For Cr-10 Series should be 2.0-2.5mm @ 50mm/sĀ 

        Don't exceed 3.0mm distance.Ā  If retractions is still 5.0 - 6.5mm it will pull hot filament up into heat break and harden there when it hits the cold side and jam up!
